#keepstamping challenge: Color Challenge using A Little Lace

Ezy watermark 06 05 2020 04 01 05pm

A #keepstamping challenge inspired this card. The challenge was to use one, multiple, or all colors of: So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, and Seaside Spray. I wouldn't have thought to put this color scheme together myself, so I was excited to play with them! Of course, I wanted to challenge myself to use them all! ;) With the color scheme decided for me, I just had to pick a stamp and play! I really enjoy the A Little Lace stamp set and the coordinating Stitched Lace dies. They are just so sweet and there are SO many cute sentiments on the A Little Lace set that you could use to make this an every day card. Now I challenge YOU to make a card using this color scheme! Want to create this card? I'll be posting the product list so all you have to do is click on the images to get this cute set for yourself!

#keepstamping challenge: Retiring Products

Ezy watermark 20 05 2020 07 17 48pm

So guys, I'm super excited about this one. I think it is my favorite creation yet! I needed a bright and cheery Happy Birthday card and I think I nailed it! ;) To top it off, I was also able to hand deliver it (quarantine style) and see the smile it brought to the birthday girl's face! :) This card also covered a #keepstamping stamp challenge to use something from the retiring products list. I HAD to use the Honey Bee stamp set with it’s coordinating Detailed Bee dies. I will be so sad to see them go! Also retiring is Bird ballad DSP I’ve used to make this card bright and cheery! The banner I’ve added is from the Above the Clouds stamp set (also retiring). For a little whimsical flare, I’ve included some flowers from Bloom and Grow. This card is perfect for birthdays/baby showers/just because! These retiring products are only available until June 2nd, or while supplies last! You can click on the items in the product list to get snatch these goodies before they are gone!! Stay crafty, my friends! ;).

Poppy Moments Scalloped Notecards

Have you played with the scalloped note cards & envelopes from the annual catalog?  Their color schemes make creating so easy!  This pack of 20 cards and envelopes includes 5 each of terracotta tile, light pink, old olive, and balmy blue.  Oh, and that scalloped edge is so cute!  Did I mention they are only $8?!  I used the terracotta tile and old olive cards to create these and they made the color scheme effortless.  I've really enjoyed playing with the Poppy Moment Dies.  I cranked out a bunch of dies in several colors and played away until I was happy with the layouts and color coordination.  The Stitched Labels Dies helped pull everything together and created space to stamp sentiments.

Color Scheme: old olive, pear pizzazz, terracotta tile, whisper white

Sentiment: Peaceful Moments Stamp Set

Color Scheme: terracotta tile, poppy parade, pear pizzazz, old olive, whisper white, basic black

Sentiment: Honey Bee Stamp Set

I hope these cards brighten your day and spark your creativity!  These Scalloped Notecards are so cute and can be used in so many ways beyond what I've shared here! Maybe I'll have to come up with some more fun scalloped cards to share with you! ;)

Golden Honey Bee Card - Sale-A-Bration 2020

Happy Friday-Eve everyone! I'm really excited to share this card with you. Not only was this card easy to make, but it uses some GORGEOUS paper and ribbon. :)

This card features the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series paper from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration brochure and the Detailed Bee Dies from the Mini Catalog.  Our featured color? Petal pink to match our ribbon from the Mini. That gold and petal pink are a match made in heaven.  But what really puts the icing on this card, is using the Detailed Bee dies to cut our bee images right out of the Designer Series Paper (DSP)!  SO SIMPLE! No need for stamping or gold ink!  After you have cut your DSP to size (scroll down for measurements) just choose a few of those cute little golden bees you want to make POP on your card, place the coordinating die over top, and run it through your die cut machine. Wah-lah! You have a cute little bugger you can add a Stampin' Dimensional adhesive to and place right over top the space you cut it out of.  Easy-peesy, right? :)

I'm very excited to offer you a tutorial on this card.  Please click here or on the link below to watch and, please, share with your friends!!  Oh, and leave me some feedback when you watch so I can offer you more videos going forward!

Simply Black and White SnowFront Beauty

Ezy watermark 09 01 2020 06 59 14pm

I’ve been itching to try a simple stamping black ink scenery card. I finally got my chance a few days ago when I needed a card in a hurry, and I LOVED making it! For my scene here, I have combined the Snow Front and Waterfront stamp sets. Don't they work so effortlessly together? There is something therapeutic about using just black (and a little bit of silver). It is relaxing and stress free to just take one color and stamp until you’re content! I highly recommend you give it a try. In fact, I may have another one color card to pull out and share with you. Until then, stay crafty, my friends!
